It was the last day together that stings

This love story of mine

That left his lips entwined upon mine.

And the memories implanted in my brain

That sting.

I’m entitling this one “People and their warped perceptions of their own reality.”

The last week or so of my life has provided quite the array of memories, and a cesspool of inspiration for this piece. It is going to be painful to write, but I think it’s taught me a lot about myself, relationships, and the bitch known as attraction.
