I’m not sure how it has happened, and it certainly wasn’t intentional, but lately I’ve found myself isolated. I could blame this situation on new motherhood, but really, I think that there’s more to it than that. For one, the direction of the world seems to be trending towards more isolation. We can order things online and even perhaps work from home. So, there is less needing to go out and about. As an introvert I must admit that this doesn’t bother me so much. I can find being around people all the time to be draining, so being left alone at times doesn’t seem so bad.
