My partner, Jack and I engaged in a discussion about a dead rat today. Specifically about the ID of the rat mentioned above.

Jack found a dead rat in the back yard yesterday. I'm sure he told me he dropped it in our yard waste container.

When I walked out the front door with the dogs this morning, I noticed a mangled dead rat in our front yard. As in flattened and gory.

Did the front yard rat fall from the sky? Was it a zombie rat which crawled out of the container? A mystery which begged to be solved.

I asked Jack, "did you put that dead rat from the backyard in the yard waste"?

To which he replied, yes, I did.

My questioning continued. Did you know there's a dead rat in the front yard?
