Mother Nature Smokes

I'm concerned about Mother Nature's health. She's lighting up quite a bit this year, more than I remember. The mountains, the seashore, and the valleys stink of smoke.

She belched on the ocean beaches this year.  My scenic mountain drives obscured by a smelly haze. My views of the desert valley disappeared behind a wall of gray ooze.

The 75 pack a day habit is dangerous. I gazed up at the sky and pleaded with her to stop. No response.

The wind encouraged her habit. The breeze almost always blows from west to east, but not this year. The wind decided to party with mother nature, boosting her craving.
