It's hot here.  We surpassed the old record for dry days, 51, and it's close to 90 degrees. I know this is not a problem when you live in a part of the country which needs AC for at least three months out of the year.

When you live near the ocean, lakes and a sound, mother nature provides the AC. Except for this year. Mom turned off the AC for over 50 days now and refused to switch it back on.

Also, someone alerted the national media most homes in this area do not have air conditioning.  The national morning and evening news media find our situation incredulous, proclaiming the hot temperatures and our predicament with an air of astonishment.

Who told these people? Our weather is rarely on the national news. Suddenly the land of Amazon, Starbucks, and Micro...
