Jack insisted we leave before 7 pm to see Luzia, the new Cirque du Soleil show at Marymoor Park. I'm fine with that and knowing Jack we're lucky to leave by 7 pm. Punctuality he is not.

I'm astonished when we get away at 6:55 pm.  We drive around the lake because we don't pay tolls.  It's 12 minutes out of our way but leaves us $10 richer.

 As we approach the Marymoor Park exit at 7:30 pm, the drizzle turns into a downpour. We sit for 5 minutes on the off ramp. I amuse myself watching the miniature river rushing downhill on the side of the ramp.

The water runs much faster than the stream of cars into the park. Squeezing 3000 people into a park with one main entrance produces a massive traffic jam. We finally park the car with only 8 minutes to spare be...
