My partner, Jack, is a collector of stuff.  A bit of a hoarder in fact so I’m reluctant to purchase more stuff for him at Christmas and on his birthday.  I opt for experiences.  

As we passed iFly, the indoor skydiving place, over a year ago with a friend, I remarked how scary that sounded.  She told me no worries; you don’t fly high up unless you want to.

I trusted her advice and bought a certificate for 2 flights each for Jack’s birthday.  Upon presentation of his present, Jack appeared less than thrilled. He preferred a group of us go, so I told him to ask his friends.  He forgot.
