Ok I blame Jo, Sunny and Kath. I should blame my own ‘lack of concentration’ but if they hadn’t started having second babies maybe it wouldn’t have happened.

The two lines on the test kit look like scales – on one side is freedom, going to work, getting a lie in, a chance to watch whatever telly you like, boobs that bounce, sneezing without fear – on the other is a year off work, no sleep, Cbeebies, the terror of a postnatal body and a small child.
