screaming,

there is no

coarser edge

than to be made

the object

of their indignity

 

Petty kings and

queens, history

is filthy with

their ilk,

all snotty

brokers in

adulation, envy

and wealth

we don't call them

kings or queens anymore,

but you know

damn well that

none of them

would sneer at

the thought,

not the way

a human being

might anyway,

 

they wag their

tongues in front

of cameras

or they used to,

some still do,

for a price you can have

it too,

 

sharing your

unfiltered

imprecise thinking
