fingers crossed behind

their backs,

clutched as a

crucifix, perhaps even

more tightly, certainly with

more conviction

Hasn't there been enough of this?

But there is never enough,

because their hate is in

their own damn selves, and

never do for free what someone

will pay you for, words

to murder by

be kind, kindness

saves the world

love everyone,

accept everything

open your mind

a mantra of people

who are all too eager

to say

fuck you

to anyone with the audacity

to simply seek tolerance

to leave alone...
