Chatting with Drake made the time fly by, and it had soon reached three pm without a return email from the Camp Organizer.  Drake had also tried phoning Elaine’s number several times, each time with the same voice-mail response.  They dialed the number on Amanda’s phone that Jimmy had called from, and the result was the same.  They had even tried the school’s guidance counselor, Mr. Hale, again, with Drake being the interrogator this time, and they managed to get the cell phone number of the school’s bus driver and caretaker, Mr Klopper, but his phone was also on voicemail.  There was just no way to contact any other person at the holiday camp up in the Amatola Mountains!  Amanda had started getting fidgety, and the panic had sta...
