Lucifer always had an aptness for storms. 

Gabriel once told me that, when the universe was new, Father had Lucifer fly out into abstract space and whip up a few cosmic storms to get the primordial chemical reactions going. In many ways, Lucifer mixed together the building blocks that would bring all physicality to the universe. It was perhaps for that reason that he held such a sense of possession for all of creation.

He held lightning with as much precision and skill that he held his flaming sword. He commanded the clouds, pregnant with rain, like he commanded Heaven’s armies. When he screamed, it was as if a torrent had blown throughout the room. Much like a storm, he calmed quickly and his tempers flared again with an equal haste. He was, in many ways, a storm himself.
