My dearest Aliyah,

     Today is the 18th anniversary of the worst day in our nation’s history, only 2nd to Dec. 7, 1941, the day the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, in Hawaii, and the U.S. entered World War 2.  I wasn’t around for that, but I was around for September 11, 2001.  9-11.   Just saying it evokes memories of such a horrific day.  Your daddy was 14 years old at the time.

     Over 2000, almost 3000, people lost their lives that day in 4 separate terrorist attacks.  I on each of the Twin Towers in NYC, 1 on the Pentagon in Washington, DC, and 1 plane went down in a field in Pennsylvania that was bound for Washington.  These terrorists used big, commercial jets to fly into the buildings,...
