We were investigating a death. A body found on the trash. A troubled soul that got into too many problems to get out from there alive. Probably a payback. All the evidences pointed out that way…

                I remember watching Zack taking a call. He looked at me for a second and walked away from the crime scene. It was dark and pouring. A proper winter night. I watched him getting away, walking against the wind, the rain wetting all his clothes and it almost felt like he wasn’t even noticing it.
