By the time you receive this letter, there will likely have been a prolonged absence since my last letter. I regret to say that you shall only receive this letter in the event of my death.

Two weeks ago, I believed that our work was falling apart, but now I know that there is a horrible truth behind the research I have been doing.

We continued to check our machine for errors, asking further questions of it and monitoring the broadsheets to determine the accuracy of the responses. We also started to feed the machine hypothetical questions, based less off of current events but more off of situations that might occur in order to examine how it responds.
