It’s a

Nightmare

People out of jobs

Families going hungry

Hospitals overwhelmed

And overcrowded

Testing taking

Several weeks

While those tested

Walk around infecting people

While they wait

Citizens dying

In the hospital

Alone

Without family

No goodbyes

Businesses and schools

Closed

So the infection

Won’t spread

But it does anyway

Mom and dad

Going to food banks

To feed their kids and them

This whole thing

Is a bad dream

Of Great Depression proportions
