want not and waste not

words shoveled into youthful heads

to the point of eating disorders,

mutiny, christened, celebrated madness

they blow smoke rings into the fire

hoping to hide a talent that could

show sidestepping the stage curtain

and stealing away the spotlight

even if for just one night and only in the head

the mind is dirty, evil, it teaches hate

all things that have been casually not-so-casually spoken

into the distant silence. why do you insist

to break that great hush that blankets overly

holding in yet holding down. I spit upon the suggestion

we burn too, just unfelt, every dying moment

with each heartfelt breath, we drown in the atmosphere

tyrant creatures with loose lashing lips to igni...
