just as the light of day

come crashing into the bleakness

that black emptiness that collects

upon the surface like dust

we wipe off, brush off and delve into

the chaos, the madness of the rush

by its end 

we live to die

but here today we pray

before we say our goodbyes

a moment of silence

is brought for you this day.

tears will have filled my eyes

filtered and fallen scattered raindrops

along the long way down

for every day passed i never imagined

it ever would be a tomorrow like this

spent without you by my side

it hurts to love

and hurts worse for this unseen loss

but the heavens parted in the sky

bowed when enter...
