Time is the worst enemy of all. It sneaks up and robs you of all your plans, putting a strangle hold on everything in its path. Weeks of forgetting to reconnect turn all close relationships into mere acquaintances, and reminders slowly become annual resolutions that are never fulfilled. What little effort it takes to drift back into your routine and pretend that you have no willpower, no drive to prioritize. It’s so easy to ignore the hours ticking away important dates that end up being crumbled up pieces of last month’s calendar. Although there are endless perceptions of the infamous Father Time, I’ve always viewed him as the elusive target for as long as I can remember. I use to blame him for all of my missed opportunities, even though I knew I was at fault. Maybe that’s why time has been so cruel to me...
