A collection of free-verse poetry which captures beauty in the midst of hatred and melancholy. Through strong themes of love, destruction and inner-struggle, Common Thistle sees the beauty in the bottom of life.

Author Bio For Charlotte Griffiths:

Currently residing in Brisbane, AU. Charlotte Griffiths is an eighteen-year-old poet who has been working toward her career in writing for a few years now. Last year, one of her poems was featured in the Circus of Indie Artists’ 2015 Lion Tamer Edition in which all proceeds went toward Autism Speaks. Since, she has compiled her works into a WordPress blog and has become one of the authors at the My Trending Stories website, in which her poetry is posted weekly. Currently studying a Single Writing Major at the University of Queensland, she hopes to advance further and eventually publish her own book of poetry.
