Magenta for kidney,

orange for allergy,

maize for my drying skin.

A rainbow of healing,

or so they say,

and I want to believe,

to bathe myself in blue,

wash away anxiety,

sleep away insomnia.

A rainbow of healing,

and why not? Couldn’t I energize

in nanoseconds of red?

Drink in passion

to secure my adrenals,

until the violet sky of night

provides

an artificial light

of understanding.

A rainbow of healing,

wrapped snug

in Earthly shades of green,

revealing hope

because they say it does,
