Renewal is the first

evening lamp,

amber yellow

like the sun,

late

on a Sunday afternoon.

Dimmly lit,

the room glows softly,

quietly,

tenderly humming

a tune

in the back of my mind,

"You're alright."

"You're okay."

"Lie down your head

and rest

awhile."
