The needle’s thread.

It plucks through folds

of seasons

in metallic twine.

in and out,

woven between amity,

through lazy yellow days—

when time slowed,

souls revived,

playful words gathered

in song.

Golden rays now cling

to fabrics in flow

of Autumn’s cooler breeze.

She summons the sky—

to awaken,

to dance in hues

enlightened by

indigo;

September.
