Time is pale yellow,

like sweetness slips through

honeycomb.

All things good

never lasting

long.

Time moves quick—

s l o w.

Its song changes tempo

after each bridge,

and resting for a breath

can cost you.

Credits roll

as the sun sets.

Vista fades to night,

until the rooster crows,

scene changes,

once again—

Golden promises

awaken with tea

and sweet honey,

like a memory, long

lost to remember

in time gone by.
