Everyone chattered nervously. Doctor Kühn had called the meeting. He’d said he’d got something really important to tell them. There’d been speculation all day. It was surely going to be one of two things: either the school would be called to close down completely or it was being granted a reprieve and they could carry on as normal, perhaps reinstating the missing classes.
