Dear Frau Lehrs,

I’m writing to let you know that Klaus and I have decided to sell up and move the whole family to Holland. We think it will be safer for us there. We are all going to live on Heinrich’s farm. (Heinrich is my cousin. His wife is Dutch and they have inherited her father’s farm.) There is plenty of work there and there will even be enough for Jakob and Benjamin once they have finished their schooling. The farm is expanding.
