They hiked in comfortable silence as they made their way through the forest. Slowly, the path became steeper and much rockier. As Faith found herself struggling to keep her footing, the thought occurred to her that perhaps Peter wasn’t putting the moves on her sister. Maybe he was just being helpful.
When she really took time to think about it, Faith had to admit that she didn’t know Peter very well. Perhaps she had judged him too harshly. Peter was several years older than her, so she hadn’t gotten the chance to get to know him during their high school years. As she hiked, Faith began mentally cataloging the few things she did know about Peter and carefully considering the few times that they had interacted.
