It didn’t take long for Faith to locate her sister. She was standing near the piano and shaking hands. Many people had gathered around her after the service to congratulate her on her beautiful playing. Faith’s heart swelled with love for her sister as she watched Hope shyly smile and quietly accept all the compliments she was receiving.
Once she extricated Hope from the crowd, they both met Alex in the parking lot. He was holding a large Tupperware dish with four enormous cinnamon rolls squeezed inside.
“I am not squeezing into that sardine can you call a car,” he said. “I’ll drive instead.”
Faith turned to her sister, “Whose car do you want to take? Alex and I both feel like driving today.”
