Time always moved quickly on Sundays and before he knew it, Alex was once more seated in his usual spot at the front of the sanctuary. He sat with his notebook open on his lap so that he could continue working on his latest writing project while listening to the worship service around him. He was glad that so far everything seemed to be going well for Hope. He could hear the other people in church whispering about how well she played the prelude.
