FENN’S THEORY OF FLIGHT

After dark they built a fire inside the mouth of a crystal cave, and tended to the unconscious girl until she finally woke up, more than slightly irritated, nursing a serious headache.  After many apologies, they had a spot of dinner.  The flames flickered and licked off the glittering facets of the walls around them like pixies floating in the darkness, as they ate fresh bacon, trotters and snout – each morsel a delicacy – courtesy of the dead pig.
