“What in the fiery pits of Pantagoria are you doing?!” Fenn cried out as he climbed to his feet.  He went over to the girl and nervously knelt down next to her.  “Please tell me she’s still alive.”

          “Of course, she’s alive,” Thistle said, feeling her neck for a pulse.  “It’s just a little love tap.”

          “What did ya bean the girl for?” Fenn asked.  “She just saved me hide.”

          “She’s a royal.”

          “She’s a what?”  Fenn was confused. ...
