“Not so fast, Laddie-Boy,” the witch said, grabbing hold of Fenn’s arm.

            “What is it then?”

            “Look.”

            Fifty meters ahead of them, the tracks ended in a swirl of sand.

            “What?”  Fenn looked at her.  “What is it?”

            “Looks to me as though he took to the air at that point.”

            “So what?  C’mon! ...
