“What?”  Fenn stared.  He felt the strangest feeling in his gut.  He was being robbed, and yet he could not get over the fact that he found his assailant quite attractive.

       “My compliments,” the girl said with a polite little curtsy, backing away toward the path with the crossbow still raised.  “But alas… it would be very unfortunate if a witness were to come forward one day and identify the perpetrators of such a wily ruse.”
