She had been right. Three cars were all that had responded, for the moment. They were in the parking lot now, and she was four shots in. Two had slammed into the grill of the first car, making it smoke, the last two into the side of the second car as it veered to the right. The third car veered left, and it was this one she wanted to stop. As they left, they would come around the right side of the building, so this third car would have the most cover, and be most likely to make chase. She aimed at the driver’s side tire, missed once, then POP! The second shot hit and sparks flew up as the car slammed onto its rim.
