Police report filed by Office Evelyn Campbell, August 9, 2003

At 10:15 a.m. on August 9, 2003, I was dispatched to Camp Fairmarsh (Rural Route 8) regarding a disappearance. Ruby Yamaguchi (DOB 6-7-1967) reported that her niece, Jessika, and the other campers and staff at Camp Fairmarsh were all missing. Stolen.

Yamaguchi told me:

The camp pickup time was scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m., but parents and other guardians were told to arrive as early as 10:00 a.m.

Upon her arrival at 9:45 a.m., the camp gates were locked.

At 10:10 a.m., when the gates had still not been unlocked, she walked down the camp driveway and found no campers or staff by the time she reached the flagpole (on which no flag was flying). She observed that the camp looked as though it had been abandoned s...
