Excerpt from Thunder’s weekly narrative report on Willow Unit, August 4, 2003

… Cabin 8 has been a true delight to work with this summer. I know that camp administration expressed some concern over only having three girls in a cabin, because of the tendency of two girls to become fast friends and leave the third out. But this has not been the case with Cabin 8. The three girls there, Jessika, Mary, and Alexis, have gotten along well, and we’ve had no problems with any of them this year.

Based on this experimental arrangement, I’d like to formally suggest that in the future, we may want to consider having only three girls in each cabin, and simply opening more of the unused units if we have enough girls to warrant it. We will, of course, need to carefully vet all of t...
