Camp Fairmarsh Birdwatchers Report a Fruitful Season
The Camp Fairmarsh Birdwatchers have just returned from their overnight birdwatching excursion. Much to their surprise, they found a large number of birds out at night, more than just the owls that they expected to see.
Counselor Sandy, who heads up the birdwatching group, tells the Camp Fairmarsh Weekly reporters that she and her girls saw a handful of sparrows and jays just before the sun went down, but then continued to see those birds throughout the night hours.
