Letter from Alexis Blackwell to her family,  August 2, 2003

Dear Dad, Mom, Jamie, Curtis, and Tim,

Camp has been keeping me busier than I ever would have thought. There’s so much to do, and so little time in the day. So sadly, writing home has been shifted to the back burner.

The newspaper has been really successful this year. Wherever I go, I always see girls reading it. Rogue says there’s been a dramatic increase in interest in the newspaper this year. We have our suspicions that it’s because we’ve been including the older articles from time to time. I’m so glad that the cabinets were just jammed and not locked!
