Letter from the Cunninghams to Director Ace, received via fax, July 31, 2003

Dear Director Ace,

Our daughter, Brooke Cunningham, recently reported (via our maid) that she had been thrown from her horse during one of her riding sessions. We understand that our maid was making arrangements to retrieve Brooke from camp and get her to a doctor.

However, we have heard nothing directly from our daughter, and are concerned that perhaps her injuries may be more severe than originally reported. We would like for you to provide us with an update at your earliest convenience.

As we are still travelling abroad, the best way to reach us is via fax machine to the number listed on this letterhead. The hotel is apprised of our itinerary and will get any message sent to us immediately.
