Dear Mom and Dad,
I’m sure Ava has been in touch by now to let you know that I’m currently residing at the nurses’ station with a sprained (we hope) arm. When I spoke with her yesterday, she said that she was waiting until her brother had a day off and could drive her up here to check me out of camp. (We really need to hire a regular driver if she isn’t going to learn how to drive.)
I’m upset that I’ll be missing the end of camp this year, but since camp has nothing stronger than Tylenol and no x-ray machine, I guess I can’t stay here for too much longer. There’s only so long that Nurse Harmony will let me ice my arm. I haven’t been sleeping well because of the pain--...
