Problem: During my usual morning inspection rounds on 7/24, I noticed that the crops growing in the camp gardens were in extremely poor condition. On closer examination, I can definitively say that all of the crops that showed great promise in spite of the dry summer are ruined for the year. The tomatoes and bell peppers that were still present on the plants have each been punctured by what appear to be avian beaks. The corn has all been shucked still on the stalk, exposing the immature corn, which has still been savaged, again by what appear to be avian beaks. All of the bean plants have been stripped completely of both crop and leaves. Even the sunflowers...
