Alexis Blackwell’s dream journal, July 19, 2003

I’m writing this down only because if I don’t, I think I may explode with anxiousness. Mary and Jessika went for a hike after dinner, and they’re not back yet. There’s apparently some meadow that we went past on our hike back from the campout that they both wanted to see again. Mary asked me if I wanted to go, but I try to avoid hikes as much as possible. I know that she and Jessika would walk slowly enough for me to keep up, but I could also tell that they were chomping at the bit to get out there. Even Mary scarfed down her food at dinner, and she never has done that before.

They told me that they would be back before dark. It’s not technically dark yet, but they’ve been gone about an hour and...
