Dear Dad, Mom, Jamie, Curtis, and Tim,
Well, the moment of truth is nearly here. In just a couple of days, we will all find out what we’ve been waiting to learn since I signed up for Camp Fairmarsh: can Alexis actually survive in nature?
The annual campout starts tomorrow night. We’ll be camping, actual camping, in tents. Like the kind that sit on the ground. For two nights. Thunder will be there, and she’ll have my inhaler, so we don’t need to worry about that part. But I’ve come accustomed to having a wooden floor under my bed, which cuts down on the creepies and crawlies that live in the woods. At the campout, we’ll only have thin canvas between us and them. UGH!
