Dear M,

I hate to bother you over something so trivial, but one of my cabinmates, J, is helping to write a play that they are going to put on during the last week of camp. She has been given only a little bit of direction by the counselor in charge of the play, but something she mentioned reminded me of a play that you once wrote to me about.

The play they are writing involves a city by a lake, and a yellow-robed man. It all seems very surreal and avant garde, I think. But perhaps they have not worked out all of the details yet, and their play will make much more sense when it is complete.
