Letter from Brooke Cunningham to her parents, July 8, 2003

Dear Mom and Dad,

Thank you for having Ava send me the new swimming suits so quickly. I should have more than enough now. Apparently I was not the only one having a problem with my suits staying wet, even though Grandma Scorpion (she’s the groundskeeper) said there were no leaks in our cabin. But now Ace has us all putting our swimsuits out to dry at the pool instead of in our cabins. It’s nice to have the extras, so that I don’t have to put one that’s been outside overnight on right away! I shake my dried suits out for the whole walk back to our cabins, to make sure there are no spiders hiding inside.
