Letter from Brooke Cunningham to her parents, June 28, 2003

Dear Mom and Dad,

I hope you’re having a wonderful time in Italy, because I’m having a really miserable time at camp. Most of it is okay. Beau is still doing well, and I love riding him. But I need you to get Ava to go buy me three new swimming suits and send them to me overnight. The three that I brought with me are not drying out enough, which means that I have to put on a wet swimming suit if I want to swim or kayak. It’s gross, and it’s also unsanitary! But Quicksilver insists that we have to wear actual swimming suits in the pool AND in the canoes or kayaks, not just a shirt and shorts.
