Dear M,
Two weeks have flown by, and six more remain. Camp continues apace. I have little to report on the day to day happenings, as they have become a routine of second nature to me now. But I must tell you about something miraculous that I have found.
While we were taking one of our nature hikes yesterday, we came across a beautiful meadow of utter tranquility. At first, I thought that it was just a peaceful meadow, but as I watched it more closely, I realized that not a thing within the meadow was moving. The breeze did not rustle the grass, flowers, or leaves. No birds, butterflies, or other insects flitted through.
