Tales from Around the Fire
Since Camp Fairmarsh opened in 1883, it has been a tradition for the camp to hold an opening campfire on the night that the campers arrive. This year’s annual opening campfire was held on Sunday, June 15th, beginning just as the sun dipped below the tops of the trees. For those campers who were new to Camp Fairmarsh, the campfire served as a warm welcome to new sisters, while for those who have attended camp in the past, it was like a family reunion of sorts.
