Dear Dad, Mom, Jamie, Curtis, and Tim,

Well, it’s official! I am the associate editor of the Camp Fairmarsh Weekly! Rogue, the counselor in charge of the newspaper, is the head editor, but since I plan to spend so much of my time helping out with writing and publishing the articles, Rogue said I could be listed as associate editor. I’m super excited.

The newspaper office is one of the older buildings at the camp. There aren’t any computers to use, because apparently they cause too much of a drain on the power in the building. As it is, we can only have a couple of typewriters turned on at a time, and when it’s time to run the mimeograph machine (mimeograph machine! Not even a photocopier!), we have...
