With Thanksgiving quickly approaching, I thought I’d share one of my most memorable experiences with our nation’s most famous holiday bird, the turkey.
In all fairness to Butterball, turkey would not even rank on a list of my top ten meats. I’m not a fan, and haven’t been for as long as I can remember. Notwithstanding, I have had more than my share of this fine feathered feast over the course of my culinary career.
This story is about a man that I knew years ago. For the purpose of this story his name shall be changed; only because I am friends with other members of his family.
